ABOUT US
Bluebeast Marine Fire Management has evolved from dedicated marine fire
fighting training and instruction onboard a countless number
of merchant vessels of which more than 50% were detained (arrested) due
to a poor standard of Emergency Preparedness. Our journey began back in
May 2005 with our sister Company Fire Aid International when we began
attending detained vessels, primarily in the UK and assisting with
training the crews to the required standards. Since then, the team have
attended vessels all over the world at the request of many
international shipping owners. It was during this period that we
recognised
the urgent need for a specialised EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS review
capability available to any prospective shipping Company or Operator
and began formulating our Programme and System.
Thus the Marine
Fire Management
(M.F.M) project was born. This specific knowledge has
been consolidated with our previous experience of Instruction and
presentation within other industries where video review and
interactivity worked perfectly.
We are based in
Christchurch, Dorset on the south
coast of England, approximately 30 miles from the main shipping port of
Southampton and 100 miles from London.
Bluebeast has been
specially developed to allow
Shipping Companies, owners and operators to evaluate, implement and
maintain the required standards of Emergency Preparedness onboard their
fleet of vessels.
Our vision is to
provide a global service
via the Internet for crew assessment and onboard
training for any Shipping Company requiring our assistance.
Our Principal is
Steve Wallis who instigated and
developed this project and continues to control our main operations:
